This is the DellEMC PowerEdge Installation Kit for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 Service Pack 1. This installation kit contains a kernel update and driver update to add support for the following devices
- Intel Ethernet Controller X710 for 10GBASE-T - Dual Port/Quad Port

installation
This installation kit is a modified version of the standard SUSE Linux Enterprise installer DVD. The installer has been changed to include updated kernel and/or kernel modules required to support the platforms described in this document. In addition to the modified installer, an additional package repository is included on the DVD that includes the RPM packages that provide the updates. That repository can be found in the dellemc_poweredge-1.0 subdirectory on the base of the media.
Simply use this media as an updated verion of the general release of the SUSE Linux Enterprise installer media. The installation process is exactly the same as the standard media as described in the SUSE Linux Enterprise Installation Guides.
During installation the installer should indicate that in addition to selected modules, the HP Servers Gen10 Driver Kit for SLE15-SP1 add-on has been automatically selected for installation. It's important that this add-on is installed to ensure the final installation has the required updates for supporting the platforms listed in this document.
