SUSE Module Check and kABI Notification Service
The SUSE Module Check and kABI Notification Service are provided as part of the SUSE SolidDriver Program.
The Module Check Service tests kernel modules for compatibility with currently supported SUSE Linux Enterprise kernel versions. Users may upload a module (*.ko) or a kernel module package (*.rpm). For kernel module packages, the service will check all modules in the package and account for any inter-module dependencies.
The kABI Notification Service proactively tests enrolled partner modules for compatibility with future SUSE Linux Enterprise kernel updates. To submit a module to the notification service: 1) Check the module to verify that it is compatible with the specified service pack, then 2) Complete and submit the "kABI Notification Service" section on the module-check results page.
