SUSE iSCSI IPv6 Update

This site provides an Update Media containing an update of the mkinitrd package that is required for proper installation of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP3 using iSCSI with IPv6.

installation
USB Stick
- Download and Unpack the contents of dud-iscsi-ptf-5937.tgz to a USB stick.
- Have USB stick inserted into sytem to be installed.
- Initiate the installation of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server as usual. The update will be applied automatically during installation. (Note: the USB stick can be removed once the YaST installation process begins)
CD/DVD
- Burn the contents of dud-iscsi-ptf-5937.tgz to a CD/DVD media.
- Boot the SUSE Linux Enterprise product media
- At the boot menu select "Installation" and F6 -> "Yes"
- Initiate the installation
- Installer will prompt for the location of the "Driver Update" medium
- Insert CD/DVD created in step 1, select the CD/DVD drive device from the list of devices and press "OK"
- After the driver update is read the "Driver Update medium" prompt will return. Place the SUSE Linux Enterprise product media back in the CD/DVD drive and select "Back" to continue the installation
